Stone Tools Pecking and Grinding

For thousands of years humans and our ancestors have shaped stone, from local and distant quarry, into a useful chopping, splitting, bashing, or wood working tools. Students will explore various stone tool designs, handle and hafting styles, to make the perfect tool for the job. Peck, grind and sharpen your tool, then give it a whack and test it out.
