A north country winter is both beautiful and brutal. Learning how to be “comfortably cool” while moving in subzero temperatures, snow and ice, can save your life or simply bring you greater peace of mind and appreciation for the natural world in all seasons.  All levels of outdoor experience – No Experience to Seasoned Winter Campers are welcome to attend. This class will cover the basics of survival in a frozen world – Shelter, Water, Fire, and Food in the form of game and forage. Learn how to prevent hypothermia, track, trap, heat water, make hot cocoa on demand, and stay alive.
